Many of you probably think of teenage girls keeping an online journal when you think of blogs. But really, most blogging software has totally progressed beyond the normal bounds of simple personal blogs. It has jumped right into competing with the best CMS (content management system) software!
The actually scripts that run a WordPress website form the machine that runs everything. But a huge variety of themes can turn WP into dozens of different website types. I run WordPress websites (I don’t call them blogs) that can be categorized as article sites, online ezines, lead generators, and more.

One great WordPress theme that can help you run WordPress as a CMS is WP Remix. It is a paid, theme, but I am getting to the point where time savings are worth some cash investment. And the purchase is certainly cheaper than hiring a designer.
